BDA Graduates 2023: Molded through Resilient Educational Foundations

Our deaf students have faced numerous challenges in recent years. They have gone through a lot of adjustments as they shifted from normal face-to-face classes to modular learning and eventually to blended learning. The transition may have been difficult, but our students have shown remarkable resilience and determination.

It is a great honor and joy for us to have a new set of students graduate this school year 2022-2023. Fifteen Students graduated from Senior High School and 23 students completed Junior High School at Bohol Deaf Academy. This is the second batch of Senior High School Graduates that BDA has produced since they began offering the K-12 program.

They had their graduation ceremony on June 16, 2023 with Reymart Valleser, a BDA class 2013 alumnus, as the commencement speaker.

IDEA has been making significant impacts on the lives of deaf children in the Philippines for 40 years. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the seeds of hope planted by IDEA flourish.
